Suffolk County Police today arrested a Sayville man for possession of child pornography.
Following a tip from the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Suffolk County Police Digital Forensics Unit detectives conducted an investigation into Daniel Forsberg. With the help of Fifth Precinct officers, a search warrant was executed at Forsberg’s home, located at 124 North Cliff Ave., where more than 100 images of child pornography were found on his electronic devices.
Forsberg, 23, was charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, both felonies. He is being held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on March 23.
