SCPD are investigating the death of Wayne Booker, 54, who was found shot in his Farmingville home last night.

Uniondale, NY - March 24, 2017 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a man who was found shot in his Farmingville home last night.
 
Police responded to a Farmingville home at approximately 8:25 p.m. after a friend went to the residence to check the welfare of Wayne Booker and discovered Booker had been shot. Booker, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
