AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING An Air Quality Health Advisory remains in effect for the following counties: Nassau and Suffolk. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of ground level ozone. The New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. SCPD are seeking the man who stole iPhones from multiple stores in Suffolk County.

Suffolk County, NY - March 27, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole merchandise from multiple stores in Suffolk County this year. 
 
A man stole two iPhones from T-Mobile, located at 208 Route 25A, Port Jefferson Station, on March 6 at approximately 2:15 p.m. The same man stole two more iPhones from the AT&T store, located at 387 Independence Plaza, Selden on March 8 2018 at approximately 6:10 p.m. The same suspect is believed to have stolen iPhones from other stores as well. 
 
The suspect is described as black or Hispanic and approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall.  
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
