According to Suffolk police, an unfortunate incident occurred this afternoon at Lindenhurst Middle School involving two male students, resulting in a stabbing.

The authorities were alerted at 12:30 p.m. and promptly responded to the situation. Regrettably, the injured student had to be airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for medical attention. The student accused of the stabbing is currently in police custody.
