Scam Artist Uses Fake Documentation to Rip Off Mercedes Benz from East Meadow Car Dealer, Cops Say
First Squad Detectives are investigating a Grand Larceny that occurred on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 8:10 pm in East Meadow.
According to detectives, an unknown male entered Car Max located at 2000 Hempstead Turnpike and produced fraudulent documents to purchase a 2017 Mercedes Benz.
The subject is described as a male black, approximately 25 – 30 years old, 6’0” tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
