The Narcotics/Vice Squad reports the arrest of a Queens man for the Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance that occurred on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 2:08 PM in Westbury.
 
According to detectives, an investigation was conducted at Guys Smoke located at 453 Old Country Road which led to the arrest of Defendant Long Chen, 30, of 221-10 43rd Avenue, Bayside. The defendant, while working at the above location, sold tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and a greenish-brown leafy substance believed to be cannabis. He was placed under arrest without incident.
 
Defendant Long Chen is charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree and Unlawful Sale of Cannabis. He will be arraigned on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
The defendant was previously arrested on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the same location and charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree.
