Long Island-Mom Accused of Sending Sexual Photos of Teen Daughter
According to a report by Newsday, a public school teacher and mother from East Northport on Long Island was accused of sending sexual photos and videos of her 15-year-old daughter to boys in order to boost the teenager's "self-esteem."
Nicole McCloskey, 51, was charged with child pornography after allegedly using her daughter's social media accounts to share images and communicate with her classmates. She was arrested on February 9 and arraigned on March 14, pleading not guilty to 53 felony counts including promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child.
On March 22, she was held on a $500K bond and a temporary protection order was issued. McCloskey taught special education at Western Suffolk BOCES, but a spokesperson for the school stated that she has since been reassigned and has no contact with students or access to the school's premises.
