The Public Information Office reports the arrest of an Island Park woman for a DWI that occurred on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 10:10 pm in Oceanside.
According to police, officers responded to vehicular accident at the intersection of Brower Avenue and Moreland Avenue. Upon police arrival it was determined that a 2007 white Chevrolet Avalanche struck a utility pole causing a hazardous condition with wires down.
During the investigation officers determined the operator of the 2007 Chevrolet was intoxicated. Danielle Drexler, 31, of 150 Waterview Road was placed under arrest without further incident and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Defendant is charged with DWI and Driving While Ability Impaired. She will be arraigned when medically practical.
