Freeport, NY - March 30th, 2015 - The Public Information Office reports the details of a Burglary that occurred in Freeport on Saturday, March 28, 2015.
According to police, a custodian for the Freeport Village Hall entered the building at 8:25 am and felt a cold breeze. He then noticed that a first floor window was broken. The custodian reported his finding to Freeport police. Upon arrival, police officers discovered that a safe located near the first floor cashier was tampered with, but not broken into. There were no proceeds.
