The 2022 Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show at Jones Beach State Park will be held on Saturday, May 28, and Sunday, May 29, from 10am-3pm this year. The 18th annual air show will take place over Memorial Day Weekend and welcomes the return of the United States Navy Blue Angels to the show.
“We are pleased to welcome back the United States Navy Blue Angels as our headliners, as well as many other incredible performers,” the official website reads. “Stay tuned for additional announcements!”
According to the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Airshow Facebook page, an estimated 11 million spectators view the Blue Angels at air shows each year.
The last time the Blue Angels performed at the show was in 2018.
“We are so excited to welcome them back as our headliners, as well as many other incredible performers,”a Facebook page post read.
The show will be going back to a pre-COVID era with no restrictions. Parking will be $10 per vehicle, or no charge with an Empire Pass. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
