Bellmore, NY - March 31, 2014 - The Kiwanis of the Bellmores will be holding its Annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, April 6th from 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Applebee’s located at 2660 Sunrise Highway in Bellmore.
Breakfast is offered at $7.00 per person (adults and children are welcome) and includes a hot breakfast of eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, juice, coffee, etc. “The cost is kept low so that everyone in the community has an opportunity to come,” stated Club President Sheryl Perry. “There will also be gift baskets to be raffled off and any one can be a winner.”
Proceeds from this fundraiser support the many philanthropic activities of the club: local high school Key Clubs and Aktion Clubs; the Bellmore Food Pantry; sending underprivileged children to Kamp Kiwanis; purchasing local pool passes for low –income children; supporting the Suicide Awareness Walk of Long Island Crisis Center; Thanksgiving and Christmas food drives; etc.
Kiwanis Club of the Bellmores is a local club of Kiwanis International, a volunteer service organization that is dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
