Nassau Police Investigating 3-on-1 Baseball Bat Street Assault In Uniondale

Uniondale, NY – March 31, 2017 – First Squad detectives are investigating an Assault that occurred on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 4:45 pm in Uniondale.
 
According to detectives, while walking with his bicycle northbound along Paff Avenue near Elm Place, the 18 year old male victim observed three unknown male blacks exit a gray Toyota or Honda. The subjects approached him and then proceeded to strike him multiple times with a baseball bat in the head, face and neck. 
 
Two of the subjects then fled the scene on foot and the third re-entered the car and fled northbound on Paff Avenue. The victim, who sustained multiple contusions to his head, face and knee, was transported to an area hospital for treatment. 
 
A witness, who observed the subjects, described the first as being 5’8” tall in his 20’s, wearing dark clothing. The other subject carrying the baseball bat was 5’8” tall with a thin build and braided hair; He was also wearing dark colored clothing. No description of the third subject was given.
