Roslyn Heights, NY - April 2nd, 2015 - The Third Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred in Roslyn Heights on Thursday, April 02, 2015 at 12:43 am.

According to detectives, an unknown male subject (no description) entered into a Deer Run residence by shattering a basement sliding door and proceeded to a second floor bedroom opening dresser drawers and then to a first floor master bedroom opening drawers that  woke up a 73 year old female victim sleeping.

The subject reached for a jewelry box on top of a dresser and then exited the home in an unknown direction. The jewelry box was dropped just before exiting the house. There were no proceeds taken. There were no injuries reported.
