Incident: Woman Arrested for DWI with Daughter in Vehicle
 
Location: In front of 200 Larkfield Road, East Northport
 
Date/Time: Thursday, April 2, 2015 at approximately 6 p.m.
 
Suffolk County Police arrested a Centerport woman for driving while intoxicated with her 11-year-old daughter in her vehicle.
 
A witness called to report that the driver of a 2014 Volkswagen Passat was drunk in the parking lot of 200 Larkfield Road, East Northport, at approximately 6 p.m. Second Precinct officers responded and determined that Jamie Wieser, 45, of Johnson Street, was under the influence of alcohol.
 
Wieser was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger 15-Years-Old or Younger (Leandra’s Law) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
 
Wieser will be held at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on April 3.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
