Officer Brett Boller of Hauppauge, 22, was shot while responding to reports of a disturbance on a MTA bus in Jamaica, Queens on Wednesday, April 5.

Surveillance stills of a man suspected of shooting an NYPD officer.

Police are currently conducting a manhunt for the man suspected of shooting a New York City Police Department officer from Long Island.
 
Officer Brett Boller of Hauppauge, 22, was shot while responding to reports of a disturbance on a MTA bus in Jamaica, Queens on Wednesday, April 5. Boller engaged in a foot chase of a suspect, who eventually turned and fired a single shot from a handgun, striking Boller in his right hip area.
 
Boller is currently recovering from his wound following surgery.
 
A $10,000 reward was being offered for information leading to an arrest in connection with the incident. Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
