Suspect Wanted for Attempting to Mug Woman in Westbury

Westbury, NY - April 12, 2015 - Third Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Westbury on Sunday, 04/12/15 at 12:45 A.M.

According to detectives, a male subject approached a female victim, 22, while on Dartmouth St./Center St., and demanded money and her phone.  The victim screamed and the subject fled on foot in an unknown direction with no proceeds.

No injuries were reported.

The subject is described as a male Hispanic, 5’5” tall, wearing a grey hooded sweat jacket partially covering his face.  No further description is available.
