UPDATE: Silver Alert Issued Suicidal Dix Hills Teen Suffering from Bipolar Disorder, Depression

Update - April 15th, 2016 -  Jason Geier was found unharmed in Brooklyn today.

Update - April 14th, 2016 -  Jason Geier, who was last seen in front of 43 Arista Drive, Dix Hills, on April 12, is still missing.

Geier has been without his medication for more than 24 hours and may be suicidal.

Dix Hills, NY - April 13th, 2016 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Dix Hills teen.
 
Jason Geier, 17, was last seen in front of 43 Arista Drive, Dix Hills, on April 12 at 3:30 p.m. He suffers from ADHD, is bipolar, has depression and may be suicidal. 
 
He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has blond hair and blue eyes.  He was wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and bright yellow sneakers. He has family in  Merrick, New York.
 
Anyone with information on Geier’s whereabouts is asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or 911. 
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
