NCPD: Multiple Arrests Reported In Connection with Inwood Domestic Disturbance

According to Detectives, there was a disturbance at a residence on Loretta Street that ultimately resulted in three arrests.

The Fourth Squad reports multiple Arrests at approximately 11:00pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in Inwood.
 
According to Detectives, there was a disturbance at a residence on Loretta Street; Ashanti Eskarge, 21, of 101 Taylor Avenue Westbury did punch a female, 19, in her face causing substantial pain and a laceration to her lower lip. 
 
After that punch, an argument ensued between three additional female victims, 37, 19, 16 years of age and Defendant Destiny Rodriquez, 19, of 18 Loretta Street Inwood. The three victims were inside their home when Defendant Destiny Rodriquez and an unknown male, approached the open windows and sprayed pepper spray inside the home causing substantial pain to all three victims.  
 
Upon Officers arrival, the victims alerted Police to the unknown male. As a large group began to gather around the house and began to yell, the male fled the scene on foot.  
Defendant Destiny Rodriguez was sitting in the rear of the Police car, and at approximately 10:25pm subject Fahiym Rodriquez stated to Police Officers that he was going to ‘knock them out’.  At that point an Officer began to arrest Defendant Fahiym Rodriquez, 30, of 305 Langdon Boulevard Lakeview NY in an attempt to prevent that arrest Defendant Shawanda Eskarge, 36, of 8 2nd Avenue Garden City Park, jumped on the Officer’s back; she was arrested.  The investigation is ongoing. 
 
Defendant Destiny Rodriquez is charged with three counts of Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. 
 
Defendant Fahiym Rodriquez is charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. 
 
They will be arraigned on Thursday, April 13, 2023 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
 
Defendant Shawanda Eskarge is charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree and was issued an Appearance Ticket returnable on April 27, 2023 to First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
