SCPD: Woman Punches, Bites Store Employee While Fleeing with Stolen Merchandise

April 15, 2019 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who stole merchandise from a Islandia store in March.
 
A woman stole rugs, curtains and assorted woman’s clothing from Walmart, located at 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway, on March 23 at approximately 2:30 p.m. The woman punched and bit an employee before leaving with the merchandise.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637). All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
