Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Aided that occurred on April 19, 2024 at 4:15 p.m. in Glen Head.
 
According to detectives, a 34-year-old male landscaper was working in a tree at a construction site. He was cutting a tree branch with a chainsaw when he was electrocuted by a nearby powerline and succumbed to his injuries at scene. He was pronounced deceased by a Nassau County Police Medic.
 
A 51-year-old male coworker was injured while attempting to render aid to the deceased. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
