Your Favorite Seasonal Ice Cream Parlor Opens

Sure, you can go get ice cream at plenty of places all across Long Island but there is something about that one seasonal shop that makes you wistful for summer days. Whether it’s Sweet Treats on the Wharf in Port Washington or Chandler Square Ice Cream in Port Jefferson (we’re sensing a pattern here) these ice cream parlors are only open when the weather starts to get warm. Of course, there is also Ralph’s Ices that opens every season with locations all across Long Island. Forget the groundhog, it is a sure sign that winter is ending once they start scooping. (And yes, we put ice cream on this list twice!)
