The Jazz Loft will be celebrating the music of Frank Sinatra in May with three nights of swingin’ songs featuring the classic Sinatra arrangements of Nelson Riddle, Billy May, Don Costa and others. Pete Caldera will be backed by Tom Manuel and the 17-piece Jazz Loft Orchestra. Caldera is best known for singing standards, mainly at New York’s Carnegie Club, where he performs monthly.
New York Times reporter Corey Kilgannon described Caldera’s performance, saying… “His phrasing was vintage Frank Sinatra circa 1960, his voice drenched with Hoboken rasp and his patter between songs delivered with Sinatra’s wise guy wit.”
Performances are Thursday, May 5, 7 P.M.; Friday, May 6, 7 P.M.; and Saturday, May 7 at 7 P.M. Don’t miss out on these very special events. Tickets can be purchased at: https://www.thejazzloft.org
