Driver Critically Injured, Passenger Killed in Shoreham Single-Vehicle Crash

Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that critically injured the driver and killed her passenger in Shoreham yesterday.

Shoreham, NY - May 1st, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that critically injured the driver and killed her passenger in Shoreham yesterday.

Grace Quinones was driving a Dodge Caravan northbound on Randall Road, north of Whiskey Road, when she apparently lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree at approximately 1:15 p.m. Quinones, 20, of Sally Lane, Ridge, was airlifted via Suffolk County Police helicopter in critical condition to Stony Brook University Hospital.

Her passenger, Deidre Bifulco, 38, of Sally Lane, Ridge, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
