Legislator Mulé Honors Freeport Volunteer Fire Department at 131st Annual Installation Dinner
Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined the members and leaders of the Freeport Volunteer Fire Department at the Huntington Hilton Hotel on Saturday, April 22 for the Department’s 131st annual Installation Dinner.
During the festivities, Legislator Mulé presented Nassau County Legislature Citations to incoming Chief of Department Kevin Collica; 1st Deputy Chief Assistant Albeiro Gonzalez; 2nd Deputy Chief Anthony Sotira; and 3rd Deputy Chief Christopher Burkart. She also had the privilege of honoring outgoing Chief Scott Donnelly in recognition of his leadership and service.
“Time and again the Freeport Fire Department volunteers and first responders go above and beyond the call of duty in their efforts to keep residents safe,” Legislator Mulé said. “It was an honor to join the Fire Department for their 131st Installation Dinner and recognize these outstanding individuals for their achievements and dedication to the community.”
