AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING An Air Quality Health Advisory remains in effect for the following counties: Nassau and Suffolk. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of ground level ozone. The New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. NCPD reports the arrest of Jeremy Henggeler, 40 for Menacing on Monday, May 01 in Levittown.

Levittown, NY - May 2, 2017 - The Second Squad reports the details of an arrest for Menacing on Monday, May 01, 2017 at 6:30 pm in Levittown.
 
According to police, Jeremy Henggeler, 40, was approached by a news crew while in his garage. As the female victim approached asking to speak to the suspect he displayed a knife and approached her in a threatening manner. The victim and a witness left the property and notified police who responded to the scene and placed the suspect under arrest without incident. No injuries were reported.
 
Henggeler is charged with Menacing 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at First District Court in Hempstead.
