Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who left the scene of a motor vehicle crash that killed a dog in Selden.
 
A woman was walking her emotional support dog, Romeo, on Pine Street when a dark-colored SUV struck the Toy Poodle, killing it, on April 23 at 11:17 p.m. The dog’s owner reached into the driver’s vehicle and attempted to stop her but the driver fled the scene. The suspect was described as white with blonde shoulder-length hair and in her 30s.
