Elmont, NY - May 1, 2015 - County Executive Edward P. Mangano (5th left) thanked NYRA Chairman of the Board Anthony Bonomo for inviting him to cut the ceremonial ribbon at Belmont Racetrack’s Opening Day.

County Executive Mangano remarked that “Belmont Park is one of the great jewels of Nassau County. Every year, the Belmont Stakes, which is the third and final race of the Triple Crown, takes place right here in Elmont. This event brings people from all over the world to Nassau County to enjoy everything we have to offer and we are proud to be its host.”
