Summer Classes Begin May 20 at LIU Brentwood: Register Today

More than 35 undergraduate and graduate Long Island University courses in three summer sessions.

Brentwood, NY - May 6th, 2013 -  From the “Counseling through the Creative Arts” to “Contemporary Issues in Special Education,” LIU Brentwood is offering more than 35 undergraduate and graduate courses in several convenient summer sessions. Most courses are three credits and offered over a five week period. Summer sessions runs May 20 to June 21, June 24 to July 26, and July 29 to August 30. One week institutes in education are offered during July and August. Day and evening classes are available.

Courses are offered in the liberal arts for undergraduates as well as master’s programs in the following topic areas:

● School Counseling
● Clinical Mental Health Counseling
● Childhood and Early Childhood Education
● Special Education and Literacy

For more than five decades, LIU Brentwood has served the diverse communities of western Suffolk County, N.Y. through premier teaching and learning. A private university, LIU Brentwood offers graduate programs in criminal justice, library and information science, childhood education, adolescence education, literacy education, special education, mental health counseling and school counseling. The University also offers the bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and the LIU Post RN-to BS Nursing degree.
