The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Shooting that occurred on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 8:22 pm in New Cassel.
According to detectives, police responded to a 911 call for shots fired in the vicinity of 166 State Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 26-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced by a hospital physician. The investigation is ongoing.
