Suffolk County Police To Remember Fallen Officers During Annual Memorial Ceremony

The Suffolk County Police Department will remember and honor the 22 sworn members of the department who died in the line of duty at the department’s annual memorial service on Monday, May 11.

Suffolk County, NY - May 9, 2015 - The Suffolk County Police Department will remember and honor the 22 sworn members of the department who died in the line of duty at the department’s annual memorial service on Monday, May 11.

During this event, law enforcement, friends and families of the fallen officers come together to remember the sacrifices these officers made while protecting and serving the people of Suffolk County.

Each of the 22 fallen officers will be commemorated by having their name marked on one of 22 specially designed patrol units and the vehicles will be unveiled during the ceremony.
