Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center Holds 2023 Rescue Fair

The Town reintroduced the program in an effort to reduce overcrowding in the shelter.

On May 9, the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center held the 2023 Rescue Fair to kick-off the Town’s “Just One” program.
 
In an effort to reduce overcrowding in the shelter, the Town reintroduced the program that asks fellow rescuers and shelters to attend and help save just one deserving companion.

The Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is located at 300 Horseblock Road in Brookhaven. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 3:30 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.
