Homicide Squad Detectives report the arrest of Savonn Dangerfield, 22, of Hempstead in connection with a Homicide that occurred at 12:07pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 in Hempstead.
According to Detectives, a 23 year old male victim was shot multiple times by Dangerfield at the intersection of Dartmouth Street and Stewart Avenue. The male victim was transported to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
Dangerfield is charged with Murder 2nd Degree and an unrelated warrant charge for Robbery 3rd Degree. He was arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead, on 05/14/2019.
