The Suffolk County SPCA has charged Yvette O'Connor of Wyandanch, 39, with Animal Cruelty.

Babylon, NY - May 15, 2017 - The Suffolk County SPCA has charged a Wyandanch woman for Animal Cruelty on May 14, 2017 for neglecting and abandoning a 2 year old female Shitzu.
 
On April 14, 2017 Suffolk County SPCA received a tip that a dog was found in a crate along Sunrise Highway in BabylonAfter weeks of investigation, Yvette O'Connor, 39, was charged with 2 counts of animal cruelty and abandonment.

O'Connor will appear in First District Court in Central Islip on  July 17th, 2017.
 
Chief Gross said that animal cruelty will not be tolerated in Suffolk County.  If you witness any incident of animal cruelty or neglect in Suffolk County please contact the Suffolk County SPCA at (631) 382-7722. All calls will be kept confidential.
