After decades serving the community, Pier 44 seafood restaurant in Babylon Village closed its doors in 2020. Now, the building that housed the iconic eatery on Fire Island Avenue is going up for auction on May 25th.

 

A number of lots including the Pier 44 restaurant site adjacent and across the street are up for sale, which according to the listing can be purchased individually or in bulk. The sites are listed as restaurant, warehouse and land. The auction consists of five tax lots on Fire Island Avenue with a total assemblage of .882 acres.

Viewing of the lost will take place on Mondy May 22nd from 1:30-3:30pm. The auction date is Thursday, May 25th at 11am at Maltz Auction Gallery at 39 Windsor Place in Central Islip.
