G Taste Crepe Cafe Opens in Huntington

Written by Lon Cohen  |  21. May 2023

Tucked away on New York Avenue in Huntington - across from the old Book Revue spot - is the newly opened G Taste Crepe Cafe. (We assume the G stands for "Great").

Offering savory and sweet crepes, the tasty little shop opened in March.

This local crêperie (don’t you love that word?) offers a menu of five different savory crepes including a ham and cheese version and shawarma with sliced pork, lettuce, mayonnaise, red onions, and sriracha. The sweet aka dessert crepes include their Strawnana Crepe, filled with nutella, strawberries, and bananas topped with powdered sugar and whipped cream and a Tiramisu Crepe with house tiramisu creme and ladyfingers topped with cocoa powder.

On Yelp, Marie K, from Huntington, gave them five stars.

“A little charmer across from the old Book Revue on New York Ave,” she wrote. “I've been 3 times and each time I've had an awesome crepe… An easy walk from the movie theater for an after movie snack. Go and enjoy.”

Sue R, also from Huntington, agreed.

“The food is delicious,” she said. “We have had both savory and sweet crepes and both were perfect. The cafe is comfy and has nice seating outside. Plus Everyone is very friendly."

Location: 308 New York Avenue, Huntington, (631) 470-7557.
