Two Workers at Jericho Business Arrested for Stealing Copper Wire from Their Employer, Cops Say

The Second Squad reports the arrests of two males for an incident that occurred between Wednesday, May 15, 2024 and Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 6:00 AM in Jericho.
 
According to Detectives, Officers responded to a Larceny report of copper wire at Getty Terminal Corp located at 125 Jericho Turnpike. After a thorough investigation was conducted, two employees, Defendants Carlos Hernandez, 35, of 25-107 71st Avenue, Bellerose and Hugo Ayala, 23, of 4 Nassau Boulevard, Malverne were arrested without incident. 
 
Defendants Carlos Hernandez and Hugo Ayala are charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Grand Larceny 2nd Degree. They will be arraigned on Friday, May 17, 2024 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
