Coram, NY - May 19, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating an incident in which a 26-year-old woman fired multiple shots from a rifle from the balcony of her apartment yesterday at the Brookwood Village Apartment Complex in Coram.

Suzanne Pesola, 26, had apparently fired several shots into a wooded area near her apartment at 6:53 p.m. No persons were struck by any of the shots fired and there was no property damage. Two rifles and ammunition for both rifles were recovered.

Pesola was arrested and charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd Degree and Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
