AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING An Air Quality Health Advisory remains in effect for the following counties: Nassau and Suffolk. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of ground level ozone. The New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. NYRA Rewards to become NYRA Bets

Elmont, NY - May 17, 2016 - The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced its new national advance deposit wagering platform (ADW) will be available in July to coincide with the 2016 meet at Saratoga Race Course. The new platform will be known as NYRA Bets and will take the place of NYRA Rewards.

Formerly restricted to residents of New York State, NYRA Bets will be open to horseplayers across the country. Current NYRA Rewards customers will be seamlessly transitioned to the new platform, and will continue to enjoy reliable service within its high-quality wagering interface.

This brand transition will take place in the coming days and weeks, and customers will begin noticing these changes with the launch of the new Belmont LIVE show on MSG+ beginning on Wednesday, May 18.
