Suffolk County, NY - May 19, 2017 - On Monday, May 14, 2017, the Suffolk County SPCA was requested to assist with the placement of a mini pig. The owners were unable to keep the pig in their apartment and requested the help of the Suffolk County SPCA.

Charlotte, a lovable, tame, 8 month old, 30 lb. mini pig needed a new family to love. Chief Roy Gross picked up the adorable Charlotte and kept her until we could find a suitable forever home for her.

A few days later Charlotte's prayers were answered. A new family to love responded. She is now living with the niece of one of our volunteers and as you can see it was love at first sight. We are delighted that she has found her forever family.

Pigs are smart, clean animals and can learn many tricks, can swim, are very social and love people. Charlotte is going to make her new family very happy.
