Suffolk Sheriff’s Office To Hold Memorial Day Ceremony For Fallen Officers May 23

Ceremony will honor 78 Correction Officers and Deputy Sheriffs who died in service; Sheriff Toulon, family members of fallen, department members, to be in attendance.

On Thursday, May 23 at 11:00 am, Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr., the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Suffolk County Deputy Sheriffs P.B.A. and the Suffolk County Correction Officers Association will host its Annual Memorial Service to honor the 78 members of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office who have died in service since 1887.

 

Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon Jr. will give the Memorial Service Address and Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. The service will be attended by family members of the departed who passed away while in service. 

 

The ceremony will take place outside of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office at 100 Center Drive, Riverhead, NY 11901
