AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for the following areas: All five boroughs of New York City, and Westchester, Rockland, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of Ground Level Ozone. The New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. Third Squad detectives report the arrest of a Huntington woman for Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent/Physically Disabled Person that occurred on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 5:52 pm in Sea Cliff.

Reneisha Goodridge, 27, of Huntington, voluntarily surrendered to detectives after endangering the welfare of an incompetent/physically disabled 17-year-old girl.

Sea Cliff, NY - May 20, 2016 - Third Squad detectives report the arrest of a Huntington woman for Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent/Physically Disabled Person that occurred on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 5:52 pm in Sea Cliff.

According to detectives, Reneisha Goodridge, 27, of Huntington, while employed as a child care worker at CSO Family Services located at 101 Downing Avenue became involved in an argument with the female victim, 17.  After pushing the victim, Goodridge grabbed her arm and dragged her across the floor causing bruising to her eye, scratches on her neck and a swollen lip.  The victim was treated at scene.

After conducting an internal investigation the police were notified on Friday, May 20, 2016.  Goodridge voluntarily surrendered to detectives at 247 Broadway in Huntington.

Goodridge is charged with Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent/Physically Disabled Person and will be arraigned on Saturday, May 21, 2016 in First District Court, Hempstead.
