AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for the following areas: All five boroughs of New York City, and Westchester, Rockland, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of Ground Level Ozone. The New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. Antonio A. Rizo, 42, is charged with 31 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, officials report.

NYS Police arrested Antonio A. Rizo of Elmont, 42, for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Farmingdale, NY - May 24, 2018 - On May 22, 2018, at approximately 10:40 pm, members of the New York State Police, SP Farmingdale, arrested Antonio A. Rizo, age 42, of Elmont, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
 
While on routine patrol on the Southern State Parkway, a Trooper observed a vehicle driving reckless, with speeds reaching 120 mph in a 55 mph zone. The Trooper initiated a vehicle and traffic stop on the speeding vehicle, which was operated by Antonio A. Rizo.  
 
The traffic stop resulted in a probable cause search, where Rizo was found to be in possession of edible cannabis in the form of cookies, cereal treats, and brownies; along with small quantities of marijuana. Rizo was charged with 31 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, Reckless Endangerment 2nd, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd.  
 
He was held at Nassau County District Court until his arraignment on May 23, 2018. 
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
