Prime Burger Bar Opens in Plainview
Adding to locations in Commack and a Babylon Burger Bar in, well, Babylon, Prime Burger Bar has opened in Plainview.
With a proprietary blend of prime chuck, short rib and ribeye steak in their burgers, they offer specialties and build your own. Apps include a giant Bavarian pretzel with ale mustard, honey mustard, and house cheese sauce ($10.95) and spinach artichoke dip, which is their own take on the classic dish made with five types of cheese served with tortilla chips ($12.95).
Then, there are the super duper milkshakes. Among the many offerings is the cotton candy, a hand spun strawberry milkshake with vanilla frosting and brightside skittles candy on the rim, top with whip cream, cotton candy, cotton candy flavored rock candy, and whirly pop lollipop ($15) and an Oreo cookies n’ cream, a handspun Oreo cookies n’ cream milkshake, vanilla frosting & Oreo cookies on the nm, topped off with an Oreo cookies n’ cream ice cream sandwich, whipped cream, crushed Oreo cookies, and drizzled with Hershey's chocolate syrup ($15).
On Yelp, Omer M, from Melville, said that with the closure of Dirty Burger in Plainview there was a void in quality gourmet burgers until now.
“Decided to try this latest outpost of the gourmet burger chain that is quickly expanding its presence on Long Island,” he wrote. “Definitely worth the visit. In the process of planning the return.”
Jen Z, from Plainview, gave it five stars.
“We LOVE Burger Bar,” she exclaimed. “The atmosphere, food and owner are all top notch!!!! We came here to celebrate after my son’s band concert and the kids indulge in the most fun and delicious shakes! Everyone needs to come by here to support this fabulous local restaurant!!”
