Want to know what parks you should visit this year? Suffolk County Legis. Kara Hahn has you covered.

She’s taking to the road to do her annual tour of parks of Long Island (and beyond!) as part of her A Park A Day in May initiative to highlight the beauty, fun and healthy benefits of our parks.

You can follow along on her Facebook page and all over social media with her hashtags #APADIM and #aparkaday

“Maybe it’s because of everything our parks offer or, maybe it’s because of the relief, refreshment, peace and tranquility that is felt after spending time with nature that I began my annual ‘A Park a Day in May’ Challenge,” she wrote on Facebook. “First blooming in 2016, my goal was to, maybe, encourage Suffolk residents to visit, enjoy and promote the thousands of acres of parkland across Long Island.”
