Garden City, NY - May 31, 2016 - This year’s Long Island Tech Job Fair, where employment searchers can connect with Long Island companies seeking to fill tech-related positions, will be hosted at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, on Monday, June 20th, 2016 between 10am and 2pm.
“We created an event that benefits the Long Island tech community and allows companies of all sizes the opportunity to directly recruit from Long Island’s talent pool of software engineers, UX & UI designers, growth hackers, data scientists, web developers and beyond. The result has transformed Long Island Tech Job Fair into the biggest Tech Job Fair on Long Island,” said Andrew S. Hazen, Founder and CEO of LaunchPad who created the event three years ago.
Exhibiting companies will have unique access to talent from Long Island’s top students from NYIT, Stony Brook University, St. Joseph’s College, Hofstra University, St. John’s and even candidates from some of the top leading technology companies.
Companies already registered to recruit include Broadridge, Dealertrack, Canon, Omnicon Group, Softheon, Comview Corp., eGifter, Applied Visions, Barach Group, and many more.
“The initial response from Long Island-based companies has been tremendous thus far,” said Hazen. “Even before we officially announced the Tech Job Fair, we’ve had a dozen companies sign-up to recruit for tech talent on Long Island and over 300 job seekers register.”
While attendance is open to the public and free for job seekers, space is limited. To register, please go to www.TechnologyIsland.com or contact via email to exhibit or for sponsorship opportunities.
