The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Auto Accident that occurred in Albertson.

 

According to Detectives, a male, 29, was operating a 2014 Harley Davidson Motorcycle when he was involved in an auto accident with a 2016 Hyundai Elantra, at the intersection of I.U. Willets Road and Albertson Avenue.

 

As a result of the collision, the driver of the motorcycle suffered multiple trauma injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as Joshua Helfenbein, 29, of Seaford. The driver of the Hyundai, a male, 70, remained at scene. 

 

The investigation is ongoing.
