The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a male during a Narcotics Investigation that occurred Friday, May 27, 2022 at 6:37 pm in Great Neck.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, an investigation into two non-fatal overdoses of two juveniles ages 12 and 13 years of age led Detectives to Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) being sold at the Exotic Smoke Shop located at 8 Station Plaza South. Subsequent to the investigation, Defendant Rashid Ali, 22, of 3005 Beverly Road, Brooklyn was arrested without incident.
Defendant Ali is charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5 th Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree. He will be arraigned on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at First District Court, Hempstead.
