District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney to Host First Fentanyl Summit in Suffolk County

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office will hold the first-ever Fentanyl Summit in Suffolk County with members of law enforcement, families affected by the fentanyl crisis, and the public.
 
The summit will provide valuable information about fentanyl and the current state of affairs at the local, state, and federal level regarding the overdose crisis, and will give law enforcement an opportunity to connect with members of our community, especially those who have lost a loved one to fentanyl.
 
During the summit, members of the audience will have the opportunity to ask law enforcement panelists and members of the Medical Examiner’s Office any questions that they have related to fentanyl and the current overdose crisis.

  • Suffolk County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Odette Hall
  • Suffolk County Narcotics Bureau Chief Mark Murray
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent in Charge Frank A. Tarentino III
  • New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Captain Kenneth Gein
  • Additional speakers to include victims' family members and members of the treatment/prevention community.
