The Public Information Office reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in Atlantic Beach.
According to Police, officers responded to a working fire at The Sands Beach Club located at 1395 Beech Street. Upon arrival, officers observed smoke coming from the laundry room.
The Long Beach Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries reported. The building suffered minor damage. Nassau County Fire Marshals and Arson Bomb Squad Detectives were on scene.
The investigation is ongoing. The fire is deemed not suspicious at this time.
