Juvenile Arrested for Road Rage with Imitation Firearm in East Rockaway

The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Juvenile on Saturday May 28, 2022 at 6:42 pm in East Rockaway.
 
According to Detectives, two drivers were involved in a road rage incident near Forest Avenue and Centre Avenue. The defendant, a seventeen-year-old male, pointed a black colored imitation firearm at the three victims, ages 53, 13, 14, putting them in fear of their safety. Subsequent to the investigation, Officers located the defendant on 1 st Avenue and placed him into custody without incident. Recovered at the scene was a black colored BB gun. No injuries were reported.
 
The Juvenile Defendant was charged with Menacing 2 nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4 th Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was released on an Appearance ticket returnable on June 10, 2022 to Nassau County Family Court.
